Horrible Flavor and Effects

Resubmitting a review as Myprotein is no longer showing my previous review, along with many others that were present when I first left mine. This pre-workout tastes horrible. Battery acid with a hint of sweetness. On top of that it'll stir you up like no other pre you've ever had. You've been warned.

dry mouth

This is pretty good, nice energy, helps out with cardio, and seems to help boost PRs. But good lord the stuff makes my mouth dry and burns the daylights out of my throat. Goes Well With:water always water

mediocre pre workout

I'm a big Myprotein fan but this preworkout is just not good. I really like the normal pre workout from Myprotein but this one taste horrible and doesn't mix. I typically drink my preworkout while doing cardio before my workout then add water and drink water for the rest of my workout. But the preworkout isn't totally dissolved so I need up eating pellets of pre workout the rest of the lift. Not idealGoes Well With:not water

Benefits outweigh taste

I do feel like this product improves the quality of my workouts but as you'll see in the rest of the reviews the mixability and taste of the granules truly leave something to be desired. When I first started using it I would just mix it in water in a glass and drink and it was at the end you'd be left with all these little lime green pieces that taste like metallic chemicals and the flavor gets stuck in your mouth if they get caught in your teeth. The best workaround for this and the only way I drink it now is to mix it with a straw and then drink it through the straw while simultaneously continuously stirring it. This helps to ensure that those lime green granules go down evenly. I can get the whole thing down in about 10-15 seconds and it leaves no aftertaste this way.

I'll have to also chime in and agree with all the other reviews. This does taste pretty bad. I'll give it points for the effectiveness. In my opinion The Preworkout from MyProtein tastes a lot better, and I'd rather purchase that than the Preworkout+ any day.

Not Mixing up

It's not worth to buy it. It has horrible taste however it do not mix up in water. You will find small crystals which are undissolved in water. I tried mixing up in almond milk, regular milk, smoothie but same result (not completely mixed up). I can't believe Myprotein has worst product. Someone might liked this product but I did not like it all.

Best pre workout that I’ve used

This is by far the best preworkout that I’ve used. The focus was great and pushed me to do a lot more than usual. I’ll definitely be buying this again.

Okay Pre Workout

Not a fan of the caffeine beads. They don’t taste good and don’t mix in so it’s not very pleasant. But the overall taste of the actual powder is good. I also don’t feel the effectiveness of the pre workout as quickly as other brands I’ve used. Goes Well With:Water

Great Pump

I get a decent amount of energy from this product and it gives me a good pump. It isn't the best-tasting flavor but it is worth it being able to get a good lift session in. I have recommended this to several friends and they like it too.
