Rachel McAdams is a Canadian actress. She rose to fame playing Allie in 2004's The Notebook and Regina George in Mean Girls. Her other notable films include Wedding Crashers (2005), Red Eye (2005), The Family Stone (2005), The Time Traveler's Wife (2009), Sherlock Holmes (2009), Midnight in Paris (2011) and Doctor Strange (2016). McAdams also starred on Slings & Arrows from 2003 to 2005 and HBO's True Detective in 2015. In 2016, she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Spotlight.
