Disney withdrew his film, Magazine Dreams, from its planned December 2023 theatrical release calendar. Before his legal challenges, Jonathan Majors was on an upward trajectory in Hollywood.

He had recently starred in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and Creed III, with promising prospects as the primary antagonist in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
