Harry Potter Fan Summons Police With Magic Wand

The announcement of the TV adaptation was music to some fans and nails on a chalkboard to others. On one hand, it brings the story of the Wizarding World to an entirely new audience than the generation who had the movies growing up or in their teenage years. But, on the other hand, the choice has met some pushback as it will feature an entirely new cast as Harry Potter and his friends and enemies.

As for when we can expect to see the new Harry Potter series cast spells and land on HBO and its streamer Max, it sounds like the network is aiming to have the first season completed for a 2025 or 2026 arrival. In the meantime, you can always dress up like the characters and wave a wand around – maybe just do it at one of the Harry Potter-themed amusement parks at Universal Studios.
