Around 1:20 a.m., the Subaru was traveling west in the eastbound lanes when it suddenly collided head-on with the Prius traveling in the correct lane. As a result, the front passenger in the Prius, an adult woman, was pronounced dead at the UT Medical Center after being taken to the emergency room. The Prius driver escaped unharmed.
