Anastasia Ashley is listed as both a surfer and a model and, honestly, she seems more or less equally accomplished at both things. Discovery Channel's Naked And Afraid, on the other hand, is a boilerplate "survival" show where the contestants are forced to SURVIVE THE ELEMENTS despite an omnipresent production crew. The hook for this one? They're naked. Combine an attractive celebrity and the show's brazen premise? It's a veritable ratings bonanza!

But, as Anastasia soon learned, Mother Nature has neither the time nor the patience to afford celebrities special treatment. While Anastasia and her butt may have felt pretty smug about her duct tape bikini (ahem, it looks more like electrical tape), Gaia sent her most faithful soldiers to punish her for her hubris -- a whole buncha friggin' bugs.
