Cunt Butcher is a grindcore band, formed in 2004 in Sydney, Australia but now based in Brisbane. Originally a solo project for Carcass Butcher, the band has been through several lineup changes and cofigurations. For almost two years Carcass and second bass player Cadbury Redbeard, together with a drum machine, terrorised the Sydney live music scene with raw meat, islamic blowup dolls, pigs, nudity, blood (both human and animal) and assorted other fluids, as well as playing some ultra-politically correct grindcore in between. By late 2008, after numerous drunken post-gig incidents, the relationship between Carcass and Cadbury turned sour and the band broke up temporarily, and Carcass left Sydney for Brisbane.

Towards mid 2009, Carcass was offered a show on September 11, 2009, one year after a similar show caused a huge shitfight in Sydney, with student unions, both Jewish and Islamic groups, and every left-wing PC fuckwit in town doing everything to get the venue to ban the band, eventually succeeding. Given another opportunity, Carcass reformed the band with former Invocation and current Dreamkillers drummer KKKrist, and took to the stage dressed as a terrorist with hilarious results, culminating with a series of brawls between crowds of metalheads and crusty punks out the front of the venue.

The band is still continuing to this day. Gigs are extremely rare due to venues and promoters being reluctant to handle the band, however, they are worth making the effort to go and watch. Gigs are also the only means of getting hold of the bands recorded work, including the recently recorded 'PETA (People Eating Tasty Animals)" and the remaster of the 2008 EP 'Say Grace'.
